2-year-old in fair condition after being hurt in two-car crash

A Woodbine toddler was seriously injured in a car crash Tuesday night when his father, attempting to pull into their driveway, drove into the path of a van, police said.

Kerry King Kennedy, 2, of the 3000 block of Florence Road was flown by state police helicopter to the Johns Hopkins Children's Center in Baltimore after the collision, said Pfc. Gerald Frischkorn of the county Police Department's traffic division.

Kerry is listed in fair condition at the hospital.

His father, Jay R. Stutts, 23, was taken by ambulance to Frederick Memorial Hospital, where he was treated and released, Private Frischkorn said.
