PRINCETON, N.J. -- Municipal bond issuers announced yesterday the early redemption of eight issues totaling more than $28.2 million.

1! The issues being called are: * Northport, Ala., Series 1983, general obligation bonds, May 1, through May 1, 1998. $1.18 million called at 101 on May 1, 1993.

* Montrose Recreation District, Colo., Series 1986, general obligation swimming pool bonds, maturing June 1, 1994, through June 1, 2006. $1.075 million called at 101 on June 1, 1993.

* Clinton County, Mich., Series 1985, general obligation sewage disposal bonds, maturing May 1, 1994, through May 1, 2006. All outstanding bonds called at 101 on May 1, 1993.

* Eagan, Minn., Series 1983, general obligation improvement bonds, maturing June 1, 1994, through June 1, 1999. All outstanding bonds called at par on June 1, 1993.

* Palmyra Area School District, Pa., Series 1985, general obligation bonds, maturing May 15, 1994, through May 15, 1997. $1.845 million called at 102 on May 15, 1993.

* Springfield, Tenn., Series 1983, general obligation sewer revenue and tax bonds, maturing June 1, 1994, through June 1, (( 2003. $1.58 million called at 102 on June 1, 1993.

* Campbell County, Tenn., Series 1979, general obligation school bonds, maturing June 1, 1994, through June 1, 1999. All outstanding bonds called at 101 on June 1, 1993.

* Gulf Coast Waste Disposal Authority, Texas, Series 1977, environmental improvement revenue bonds (Rohm and Haas Texas Inc. Project), maturing March 1, 2002. $22.52 million called at par on May 19, 1993.
