Congdon, Long pitch Chesapeake no-hitter

Senior Lori Congdon and junior Jaime Long combined for a no-hitter over five innings yesterday as No. 1 Chesapeake beat host Broadneck, 18-0.

Congdon, who struck out six and walked one, was also 3-for-3, including a three-run double for the Cougars (6-0). Congdon pitched the first four innings, and Long struck out the side in the fifth.
