BALTIMORE CITY

* ASSAULT: Western District -- A resident of the 1100 block of N. Mount St. was walking in the 1700 block of N. Mount St. Saturday afternoon when a man he knows stabbed him in the mouth with a knife. The armed man escaped and the victim returned home after refusing medical treatment.

* ROBBERY/SHOOTING: Western District -- Police were seeking gunman who shot a resident of the 800 block of N. Fremont Ave. in the right thigh during a robbery Sunday morning near the victim's home. The victim was taken to the University of Maryland Medical Center, where he is listed in stable condition. The gunman escaped with cash and several pieces of jewelry, all valued at more than $2,000.

* THEFT: Western District -- A woman entered a house in the 2400 block of Westwood Ave. Sunday morning and stole a living room sofa, cash and clothing, all valued at more than $1,000. The woman was being sought.

* SHOOTING: Western District -- A resident of the 3700 block of Fallstaff Road was in the 2000 block of Edmondson Ave. Sunday morning when a gunman shot him in the stomach with a 9 mm handgun. The victim was listed in critical condition at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

* ROBBERY/ARREST: Western District -- A gunman robbed the Farm Fresh market in the 2300 block of Liberty Heights Ave. Sunday morning of two packages of meat valued at nearly $18. Later, police arrested James Leroy, 21, of the 4300 block of ZTC Brookfield Ave., and charged him with armed robbery. He was being held in lieu of $7,500 bond.

* ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 900 block of Gorsuch Ave. was in the 2000 block of Elgin Ave. Sunday afternoon when a gunman robbed him of his coat, watch and beeper, worth more than $800.

* ASSAULT: Western District -- Police were seeking at least five men who pulled an out-of-town motorist from his car while he was stopped at a traffic light in the first block of Warwick Ave. Saturday night and beat him with their fists. When the man was pulled from his car, it drifted into another vehicle, causing minor damage to both. The victim was treated at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center and released.

* ROBBERY: Western District -- A gunman robbed a resident of the 2300 block of Calverton Heights Ave. of $100 in the 2100 block of W. Lafayette Ave. on Sunday.

* CARJACKING: Eastern District -- A resident of the 3800 block of Sinclair Lane was parked in the 2400 block of E. Lanvale St. Sunday afternoon when a gunman forced him from his 1987 Ford and drove off.

* ROBBERY: Eastern District -- A resident of the 2300 block of E. Monument St. was in the 1600 block of N. Patterson Park Ave. Sunday when a man robbed him of a beeper and a ring, all valued at $200.

* BURGLARY: Eastern District -- Someone entered St. Ann's Church in the 500 block of E. 22nd St. Sunday and stole a $70 fan.

* BURGLARY/ARRESTS: Southern District -- Police arrested two men who entered a house in the 1700 block of S. Charles St. Saturday night through a basement window. The intruders stole cash and musical instruments, all valued at $800. It was not immediately known if the property was recovered.

* ROBBERY: Eastern District -- A gunman robbed a resident of the 1600 block of N. Washington St. of more than $400 in the 1200 block of N. Luzerne Ave. Sunday while pressing the weapon to the victim's head.

* BURGLARY/ARREST: Southern District -- A man was arrested early Sunday after a resident of the 3700 block of St. Margaret St. saw him enter her enclosed rear porch and steal a gas grill valued at $100. A suspect was arrested near the scene.

* BURGLARY: Southern District -- Someone entered What's New in the 700 block of Washington Blvd. Sunday morning after breaking a window and stole property of unknown value from a shelf.

* CUTTING: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 1600 block of W. North Ave. was in the 3300 block of Woodland Ave. Sunday morning when he was cut on the arm by a man with a knife. The victim was treated at Sinai Hospital and released.

* STOLEN CAR: Northwestern District -- Someone stole a 1988 Chevrolet with Maryland tags NYK946 from the 3000 block of Tioga Parkway over the weekend.

* BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- A TV and a VCR, all valued at more than $1,700, were stolen over the weekend from a house in the 4000 block of Park Heights Ave. by someone who entered through the front door.

* THEFT/ARREST: Northwestern District -- Police arrested a man who attempted to leave Woolworth's store in the 6500 block of Reisterstown Road Sunday without paying for items valued at more than $60.

* ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a resident of the 3900 block of Fairview Ave. of cash and property, all valued at more than $300. The robbery occurred Sunday afternoon in the 2900 block of Reisterstown Road.

BALTIMORE COUNTY

* BURGLARY: White Marsh District -- Someone entered Berry Van Lines in the 8900 block of Yellow Brick Road between 11:30 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Sunday and stole an undisclosed sum.

HARFORD COUNTY

* BURGLARY: Forest Hill -- Six handguns, including three valued by collectors, were stolen from a house in the 1200 block of Sharon Acres Road over the weekend by someone who entered after breaking a basement window. The weapons were valued at $4,000. Taken were a Smith & Wesson revolver, a Colt .22-caliber semiautomatic, a 9 mm German Luger, a 7.65 mm Japanese pistol, an Italian-make 6.35 mm semiautomatic and a French .32-caliber semiautomatic.
