2 Baltimore men charged in robbery

Two Baltimore men were arrested early Friday and charged with robbing an Ellicott City pizza store.

Dana Kirk Curtis, 20, of the 3300 block of North Hilton St. and Christopher Eugene Shelton, 22, of the 3300 block of Barrington Road were arrested in Randallstown after an off-duty Howard County police officer spotted their car and followed it to Liberty Road. Baltimore County and state police helped make the arrests.

The two are accused of committing armed robbery at the Pizza Boli on the 9200 block of Baltimore National Pike about 1 a.m. Saturday. Police say two men entered the store and ordered two clerks to hand over all their money. The suspects fled in a brown Nissan Maxima with about $300 in cash, police said.

Police found several hundred dollars in cash when they stopped the car.

The two were charged with armed robbery and handgun violations.
