Color Guard to present flags at Orioles-White Sox game

The Western Maryland College Color Guard will present the colors for the Orioles-Chicago White Sox baseball game at Oriole Park at Camden Yards Wednesday.

The five-member guard of cadets from the college's Army ROTC program will conduct the ceremony during the singing of the national anthem. Three color bearers and two guards will present the U.S. and Maryland flags, as well as the green and gold colors of Western Maryland College.

Color Guard members are William T. Futch, Kimberly A. Haker, Edward T. Larkin, Ann K. Reen and Michael P. Rudnick.

Western Maryland's colors presentation at the ballgame was arranged by Capt. Ruben Navarro, assistant professor of military science at Western Maryland.

The WMC Color Guard is supervised by Sgt. 1st Class Dwight Finney, operations sergeant for the college's Military Science/ROTC program.
