BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 5400 block of Jonquil Ave. Tuesday and stole property valued at more than $400.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 3900 block of Bareva Road was in the 3000 block of W. Cold Spring Lane Wednesday when a gunman robbed him of an undisclosed sum.

ROBBERY/ARREST: Southern District -- A man was arrested and charged with the armed robbery of a resident of the 1300 block of S. Hanover St. near the victim's home Wednesday. About 8 p.m., the victim was attacked by several men who beat him while one of them held a knife at his neck. The men escaped with $250. Later, police arrested Ronald McDonald, 30, of the 1000 block of Vine St. Mr. McDonald also was charged with assault and assault with a deadly weapon. He was being held at the station pending a bail hearing. The other men were being sought.

BURGLARY: Southern District -- Someone entered a CSX Railroad box car parked in the 900 block of McComas St. Tuesday and stole wine coolers valued at $30.

ROBBERY: Southern District -- Two men, one with a shotgun and the other a rifle, entered the Arrow parking garage in the first block of E. Lee St. early Wednesday and forced the attendant to remove money from a cash register. The men escaped with $60.

BURGLARY: Southern District -- Tools and an air conditioner, all valued at $500, were stolen from a house in the 1500 block of S. Hanover St. Wednesday by someone who entered through a window.

ROBBERY: Southern District -- A resident of the 3800 block of 8th St. was walking near his home Wednesday afternoon when a man with a knife robbed him of nearly $300.

ROBBERY/ARREST: Western District -- A resident of the 1300 block of Harlem Ave. was robbed of $60 near his home Tuesday by a gunman. Later, police arrested a suspect and were holding him at the station pending charges.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men robbed a resident of the 3900 block of Belvieu Ave. of $15 in the 3000 block of Mondawmin Ave. Wednesday night.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A man with a knife robbed a resident of the 2500 block of Arunah Ave. of nearly $300 in the 900 block of Warwick Ave. Wednesday afternoon.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Three men, one with a metal pipe, robbed a resident of the 1000 block of W. Lexington St. of $20 in the 900 block of Harlem Ave. Wednesday. The victim sustained a minor injury after being struck with the pipe and was treated at the scene.

THEFT: Parkville District -- Someone entered the bedroom of a house in the 3000 block of Woodside Road between Monday and Wednesday and stole a Glock 9mm semiautomatic handgun from a dresser drawer. The gun is valued at more than $500.

THEFT: Parkville District -- Police were seeking a former tenant of house in the 2500 block of Taylor Ave. who reportedly stole food, VCR tapes and record albums when he moved out Wednesday. The property was valued at nearly $500.
