BALTIMORE CITY

* ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 2800 block of W. Lanvale St. was in the 4500 block of Edmondson Ave. early Tuesday morning when a man armed with a 9 mm handgun robbed him of property valued at nearly $800.

* ASSAULT: Southwestern District -- Police were seeking a man who attacked a resident of the 2100 block of Hollins St. near his home Tuesday morning and cut him on the head with a knife. The victim was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center for treatment. Police believe the incident was drug-related.

* BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A police scanner and a set of headphones, all valued at nearly $180, were stolen from a house in the 4200 block of Erdman Ave. Monday night by someone who entered through an unlocked door.

* THEFT: Northeastern District -- A piggy bank containing an undisclosed sum of coins was stolen from the bedroom of a house in the 6200 block of Ridgewood Ave. Monday.

* ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 5500 block of Frankford Ave. was in the 5300 block of Sinclair Lane Monday night when two gunmen robbed him of his money and coat, all valued at more than $200.

* CHURCH BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Someone entered the New Unity Church in the 2600 block of Polk St. Monday night through a rear door and ransacked several rooms. was not known if any property was taken.

* THEFT: Northern District -- Tree trimming tools valued at more than $3,000 were stolen from a truck owned by the Asplundh Co. while it was parked in the 3100 block of Swan Drive in Druid Hill Park over the weekend.

* THEFT: Northern District -- Someone stole tools valued at nearly $200 from a truck owned by the city's Bureau of Recreation and Parks while it was in the 3100 block of Swan Drive in Druid Hill Park Monday.

* Burglary: Northern District -- Four tires and stereo equipment, all valued at more than $3,000, were stolen from B & J auto parts in the 1700 block of Union Ave. over the weekend by someone who entered through the ventilation system.

* STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1987 Mazda with Maryland tags AFC993 and owned by a resident of the 100 block of W. 39th St. was stolen Monday from the 3800 block of Canterbury Road.

* STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1989 Mazda with Washington, D.C., tags 595933 was stolen from the 2000 block of South Road Monday.

* THEFT: Northern District -- Someone entered a 1992 Ford parked in the 600 block of E. Lake Ave. over the weekend after breaking a window with a rock and stole a cellular phone valued at $300.

* ROBBERY: Northern District -- A gunman robbed Economy Shoes in the 3200 block of Greenmount Ave. Monday morning of an undisclosed sum of money.

BALTIMORE COUNTY

* THEFT: Cockeysville District -- Property of unknown value was stolen from a vehicle owned by the Von Paris moving company in the 1600 block of York Road over the weekend.

* BURGLARY: Cockeysville District -- Someone entered a storage locker in an apartment building in the 300 block of Limestone Valley Drive over the weekend by removing the locker door from its hinges. Property of unknown valued was stolen.

* BURGLARY: Cockeysville District -- A VCR and a 35 mm camera, all valued at $1,700, were stolen from a house in the 200 block of S. Ridgely Road Monday by someone who entered through the front door.

* BURGLARY: Parkville District -- Someone entered a garage in the first block of Perhill Court through an unlocked door and stole a 1985 Chevrolet Celebrity with Maryland tags TDP317.

* BURGLARY: Parkville District -- A house in the 3000 block of Arizona Ave. was entered Monday after someone broke a patio door lock. Once inside, the intruder ransacked several rooms. It was not immediately known if any property was taken.
