Suns turn back Generals, 5-3

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- Kris Harmes' two-run single in the seventh inning led the Hagerstown Suns (3-2) to a 5-3 win over the Fayetteville Generals (1-4) last night in a South Atlantic League game.

Angel Martinez's two-run homer in the second scored Rick Cradle and gave Hagerstown a 2-0 lead.

Winner Andy Dolson (1-0) went seven innings, allowing two earned runs on seven hits and striking out six.

Blas Cedeno (0-1) gave up three earned runs on seven hits in five innings and took the loss.
