Baltimore woman robbed in Linthicum

A Baltimore woman was robbed of an undetermined amount of money Saturday afternoon by a man who threatened her with a gun as she stood on a street corner in Linthicum. The victim was standing at Hammonds Ferry and West Nursery roads about 1:15 p.m. when a man came up to her from behind, threatened her with a handgun and ordered her to hand over a pouch containing money. The suspect was described as a white male, 6 feet tall, wearing dark blue pants, a dark green scarf, a black Starter jacket and white basketball shoes.

Police led to cocaine; three are charged

A man and woman from New York arrested in Baltimore Thursday afternoon led police to a North County hotel, where a third man was taken into custody and officers recovered 114 bags of crack cocaine, police said.

City officers arrested the two suspects on 6th Street in Brooklyn and learned that they were staying with a third man at a hotel in North County.

After obtaining a search warrant, police went to the room, arrested the third suspect and confiscated the cocaine, which they said was worth $4,560. Charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute were Vanessa Denise Moore, 27, and Mike Wells, 18, both of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Albert Williams, 24, of no fixed address.
