Sider serious but stable

Glen Burnie baseball coach Bruce Sider, who was struck above his left ear by a batted ball Wednesday, spent his second night at Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore yesterday.

A hospital spokesman said Sider is listed in serious but stable condition.

Sider was hit by a line drive just above his left ear while pitching batting practice.
