Pair arrested in break-in at house

Two men allegedly trying to break into a Glen Burnie home Wednesday afternoon were arrested by police, who said they caught them in the act.

Members of the Western District bike patrol sent to a home in the 700 block of Cotter Road saw the men breaking a rear window and removing an air conditioner, police said.

Angel Nelson, 21, of an unknown address, and Dale Kevin Keyser, 19, of the 4400 block of Annapolis Road in Baltimore, were charged with

breaking and entering.

Post Office extends hours

The Glen Burnie Post Office will extend its hours Thursday evening to receive income tax returns.

The service desk at the post office on Ritchie Highway will remain open until 10:30 p.m. Postmaster William Pratesi said returns received at the office by 11 p.m. will be postmarked with an April 15 date.
