* Kings Contrivance: 9000 block of Moving Water Lane: Someone smashed the vent window of a 1991 Jeep Cherokee and rifled the glove compartment between 10 p.m. Sunday and 6:45 a.m. Monday. Nothing was taken.

7500 block of Midas Touch: Someone entered a home through an unlocked rear door between 1 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday. The residence was vandalized, but nothing was taken.

* Long Reach: 8300 block of Silver Trumpet Drive: Someone stole a 1992 Ford Mustang Sunday between 12:30 a.m. and 10 a.m.

8300 block of Tamar Drive: Someone stole a 1988 Chevrolet IROC Camaro between midnight Saturday and 11 o'clock Sunday morning.

9100 block of Emersons Reach: Someone smashed the rear window of a 1992 Ford Taurus station wagon between 8 p.m. Sunday and 6 a.m. Monday.

9100 block of Lambskin Lane: Someone inserted a tool into the key hole of a front door between 2:30 p.m. and 8:25 p.m. Tuesday, but failed to gain entry.

* Oakland Mills: 9500 block of Basket Ring Road: A Panasonic VHS movie camera valued at $1,150 was taken from a locked closet at Talbot Springs Elementary School between 4 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday. There was no sign of forced entry.
