Baysox game closed

April 07, 1993

Today's exhibition game between the Bowie Baysox and the Frederick Keys at Memorial Stadium has been changed to a closed workout with the two clubs.

"Due to continuing construction and cleanup inside the stadium, we felt it was better to not open the stadium just yet," said Baysox general manager Keith Lupton. "We apologize for any inconvenience this might create."

A Baysox open house, scheduled for Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. will still be held. The Baysox open Thursday on the road in London, Ontario, and their home opener will be April 16 at 7:05 p.m. against the London Tigers.
