BURGLARY: Southern District -- Nearly two dozen stainless steel tanks and other property, valued at $23,000, were stolen from Universal Processing in the 3500 block of Fairfield Ave. over the weekend by persons who cut a lock securing a fence.

BURGLARY/ARREST: Southwestern District -- Michael Ragland, of the 3100 block of Clifton Ave., was arrested and charged with entering a home in the 3000 block of Walbrook Ave. over the weekend and stealing a pit bull valued at $50.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- After entering the Rite Aid pharmacy in the 5400 block of Reisterstown Road Thursday and asking for a job application, a man pulled a handgun and ordered the manager to give him money from a cash register. Before escaping with an undisclosed sum, the gunman struck the manager in the face with the weapon and ordered him and a store security guard to the floor. The manager was not seriously injured.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1983 Oldsmobile with Maryland tags YRP432 was stolen from the 3300 block of Falls Cliff Road Thursday.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- Someone stole a 1989 Hyundai with Maryland tags TTV118 from the first block of Nightingale Way Thursday morning.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Property valued at $200 was stolen from a house in the 4800 block of Melbourne Road Thursday morning by someone who entered through a rear bedroom window.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 4600 block of Manordene Road was in the 4600 block of Edmondson Ave. Wednesday night when a gunman robbed him of $26.

RAPE/ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Police were seeking a man who forced a resident of the 100 block of Mount Olivet Lane into a house in the 500 block of N. Hilton St. last Wednesday night and raped her. The man also took the woman's purse. The victim was taken to Mercy Medical Center for treatment and was released.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone entered a CSX Railroad boxcar in the 2700 block of Hollins Ferry Road on Thursday and stole tools valued at $70.

THEFT/ARRESTS: Northern District -- Police arrested two youths who attempted to leave Kids City in the 2800 block of Greenmount Ave. Monday afternoon without paying for items valued at nearly $50. After theft charges were filed, the two were released into the custody of their parents.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- While a resident of the 3900 block of Greenmount Ave. was walking near her home Monday she saw a man driving her 1990 Pontiac with Maryland tags YMY177 off a parking lot.

THEFT: Northern District -- A gas-operated grill was stolen from the back yard of a house in the 800 block of W. 35th St. over the weekend. The grill was valued at more than $300.

BURGLARY: Towson District -- While the owner of the American Cafe in the first block of W. Pennsylvania Ave. was cleaning up after closing early Monday morning he heard noises coming from the ceiling. Looking up, the manager saw the face of a woman looking down at him. The manager called police, who searched the area above the cafe but did not find the woman. Police found a hole in the cafe's roof and the floor above the eating area.

BURGLARY: Parkville District -- Someone broke the front windoof Joppa Liquors in the 1900 block of E. Joppa Road early Thursday morning and stole a case of Coors beer valued at $13.

BURGLARY: Parkville District -- When a resident of the 640block of Brinton Road in Glen Arm returned home Thursday afternoon she saw a man inside her house carrying a pillow case. When the man exited the house, the woman chased him until he dropped a pillow case containing several pieces of jewelry. The man escaped.

STOLEN CAR: Towson District -- A 1991 Ford Ranger with Pennsylvania tags YS05898 and owned by a Delta, Pa., resident was stolen Thursday from a garage at Towson Town Center in the 800 block of Dulaney Valley Road.

ROBBERY: Wilkens District -- A Hampstead, Carroll County, man was walking across a parking lot in the first block of Oella Ave. Thursday afternoon when a gunman robbed him of $200. The gunman then drove off in a black Nissan or Toyota.

BURGLARY: Cockeysville District -- Police were seeking three men who entered Allogram Inc. in the 2000 block of Greenspring Drive sometime Thursday through the front door and stole $50 and a cash register valued at $300.

BURGLARY: Cockeysville District -- Someone entered A&A Parkway Machine Co. in the 1900 block of Greenspring Drive between Wednesday night and Thursday morning through a vent cover on the roof. It was not immediately known if property was stolen.
