THEFT: Northeastern District -- Someone entered a house in the 1500 block of Gorsuch Ave. Sunday afternoon and stole clothing valued at more than $400.

SHOOTING: Northeastern District -- A teen-age resident of the 1400 block of Montpelier St. was walking in the 2800 block of Homewood Ave. Sunday when he was shot in the arm by a gunman who fled. The victim was taken to Union Memorial Hospital for treatment and released. Police knew of no motive for the shooting.

PURSE SNATCH: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 2100 block of Odell Ave. in Hollander Ridge was in the 1900 block of 62nd St. Sunday when two youths stopped and asked her for the time. When the woman looked at her watch, the youths stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at more than $100.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Several feet of copper downspouting was stolen from a house in the 7100 block of Old Harford Road over the weekend.

STOLEN CAR: Western District -- A 1983 Volvo with Maryland tags ZJE564 was stolen Saturday from the 2500 block of Winchester St.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered a house in the 1600 block of Moreland Ave. over the weekend through a rear window and stole several pieces of property valued at nearly $500.

THEFT: Western District -- Someone entered a house in the 500 block of N. Stricker St. Saturday and stole more than $500.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A VCR valued at $500 was stolen from a house in the 2800 block of W. Lanvale St. by someone who entered through the front door.

ASSAULT: Western District -- A resident of the 500 block of N. Stricker St. was cut on the arm by another man during an incident in the 500 block of N. Fulton Ave. Sunday. The armed man escaped and the victim was taken to Bon Secours Hospital for treatment.

STOLEN CAR: Western District -- A 1989 Volvo with Maryland tags YED179 was stolen last weekend from the 2100 block of Windsor Ave.

ASSAULT: Western District -- Police were seeking a man known as "Fred" in connection with the assault of a resident of the 300 block of N. Catherine St. who was struck on the head with a lead pipe in the 1700 block of Harlem Ave. Saturday. The victim was taken to Bon Secours Hospital for treatment.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 800 block of N. Carey St. was in the 1200 block of W. Lafayette Ave. Saturday night when a teen-ager armed with a handgun robbed him of $40.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men attacked a resident of the 1200 block of W. Lanvale St. in the 1500 block of W. Baltimore St. Sunday morning and robbed him of his wallet and $60.

BURGLARY/ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested James Grover, 36, of the 600 block of N. Carey St., and charged him with entering a house in the 500 block Sunday and stealing several pieces of plywood.

BURGLARY/ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested a man and were holding him at the station in connection with weekend break-in at Little Willie's Tavern in the 2300 block of Druid Hill Ave. Nothing appeared to be missing.

THEFT/ARREST: Western District -- A woman was arrested Sunday after allegedly trying to leave the Payless shoe store in the 2300 block of Liberty Heights Ave. without paying for a pair of shoes valued at $20.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 3800 block of Penhurst Ave. Sunday through a window and stole property valued at nearly $170.

THEFT: Northwestern District -- A gas-operated lawn mower valued at $200 was stolen from a shed in the 4400 block of Elderon Ave. over the weekend.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 6600 block of Hunters Wood Circle in western Baltimore County was in the 3200 block of Chelsea Terrace Saturday night when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of $826.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A gunman robbed a resident of the 2500 block of Linden Ave. of $80 Sunday evening in the 3500 block of Dolfield Ave.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 3700 block of Boarman Ave. Saturday through the front door and stole a VCR and stereo equipment, all valued at $700.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a house in the 800 block of W. 35th St. over the weekend through a roof-top trap door. It was not immediately known if any property was taken.

THEFT: Northern District -- Stereo speakers valued at nearly $1,000 were stolen Sunday from a 1991 Mazda owned by a resident of the 1600 block of Heathfield Road while the vehicle was parked in the 400 block of Elgin Ave.

THEFT: Northern District -- Someone entered a 1980 Dodge van parked on Derby Road over the weekend and stole tools valued at nearly $200.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Cigarettes and other property, all valued at $200, were stolen Sunday morning from Collins' Carryout in the 4000 block of Frederick Ave. by someone who entered through a front window.

ROBBERY/ARREST: Southwestern District -- Police arrested Bruce Damen, 30, of the 4400 block of Eldone Road, and charged him with robbing a resident of the 1900 block of Frederick Ave. of $6 near his home Sunday after striking the victim in the face. Mr. Damen was being held at the police station in lieu of $10,000 bond pending a bail hearing in District Court.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A man who implied he had a handgun robbed the Sanitary Market in the 3400 block of Wilkens Ave. of $100 Sunday afternoon.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone entered the Enoch Pratt Free Library in the 2400 block of Washington Blvd. over the weekend and ransacked the building seeking money or property. It was not known if anything was taken.
