CREDIT CARD FRAUD: Central District -- A man tried to use a stolen credit card to buy clothing from Saeno Menswear in the 500 block of N. Charles St. Saturday at 5 p.m. Police said when the clerk checked the card through the computer he found it was stolen and refused to give it back to the man, who then ran out the door of the store.

ARMED ROBBERY: Central District -- A man armed with a knife snatched a woman's purse as she walked in the 1300 block of St. Paul St. at 10:15 p.m. Saturday.

ASSAULT: Central District -- A woman reported to police that a man threatened her with a knife during an argument about 10 p.m. Saturday in the 500 block of Dolphin St.

LARCENY FROM AUTO: Central District -- Two brown leather jackets were taken from a car parked in the 100 block of Concord St. between 12:15 a.m. and 1:20 a.m. yesterday.

ASSAULT: Central District -- Two men were arrested at 12:30 a.m. yesterday for pointing a BB gun at a man in the 600 block of N. Calvert St.

THEFT: Central District -- A woman was arrested for stealing a black and white television and $300 from a home in the 600 block of W. Franklin St. at 8:45 a.m. yesterday.

LARCENY FROM AUTO: Central District -- Thieves broke into a car parked in the 900 block of Hargrove St. between 10:15 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. yesterday and took $200 worth of cassette tapes.

LARCENY FROM AUTO: Central District -- A radio was taken from a car parked in the 1000 block of N. Charles St. at 12:30 p.m. yesterday.

ARMED ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- A woman was robbed of $411 as she walked in the 1500 block of Charlotte Ave. at 1:15 p.m. yesterday. Police said the robber grabbed the woman by her hair when she told him she did not have any money. He grabbed the brown bag she was carrying with the cash inside and ran.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- A television was stolen from a home in the 3300 block of Hudson St. yesterday. Police said the residents of the home returned from church at 11:20 a.m. and found the back door pried open and the television gone.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A man was robbed of $20 at gunpoint as he walked in the 500 block of Venable Ave. at 11:05 p.m. Saturday.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: Northern District -- A 39-year-old man was cut on the face during an argument with another man in the 4000 block of Cottage Ave. about 9:40 p.m. Saturday.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A home in the 800 block of W. 35th St. was broken into sometime overnight between Friday and Saturday. Police did not know what was taken.

SHOOTING: Northern District -- A man shot at a woman during an argument in the 3000 block of N. Calvert St. at 10:30 p.m. Saturday. The woman was not hurt.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Burglars broke into a garage at Bud Schmidt Buick in the 6000 block of Reisterstown Road about 10 p.m. Saturday. It was not known exactly what was taken.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- A video cassette recorder was taken from a home in the first block of Gorman Ave. between 3 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. Saturday.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A man was robbed of $20 at gunpoint as he walked in the 2300 block of W. Lafayette Ave. at 11:55 p.m. Saturday.

ARMED ROBBERY: Western District -- A man was robbed of a bus pass valued at $42 by two gunman in the 1800 block of Penrose St. at 12:10 a.m. yesterday.

ARMED ROBBERY: Western District -- A man was robbed of $30 and cut in the face as he walked in the 700 block of N. Fulton Ave. at 9:30 a.m. yesterday.

LARCENY FROM AUTO: Southern District -- A radio was taken from a car in the 800 block of Key Highway sometime between 6:40 a.m. and 10:40 a.m. yesterday.

LARCENY: Northeastern District -- A man drove away without paying for $20 in unleaded gas from Hamilton Amoco in the 5600 block of Harford Road at noon yesterday.

LARCENY FROM AUTO:LARCENY FROM AUTO: Northeastern District -- A tire and hubcap were taken from a car parked in the 1700 block of Heathfield Road sometime between 10 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. yesterday.
