ASSAULT BY DOG: Western District -- A resident of the 1300 block of Harlem Ave. was in the 600 block of N. Calhoun St. Tuesday when she became involved in an argument with a man holding a pit bull dog by a leash. During the argument, the man ordered the dog to attack the woman. The dog did and bit the woman on the left leg. The man left, and the woman was taken to Bon Secours Hospital for treatment.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered a house in the 200 block of N. Calhoun St. Tuesday after knocking a hole in a bTC wall and stole a VCR, stereo receiver, a compact disc receiver, speakers and clothing.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 600 block of N. Arlington Ave. was walking near his home Wednesday morning when a gunman robbed him of a gold chain valued at $200.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 700 block of N. Fulton Ave. was walking in the 800 block of Warwick Ave. Wednesday morning when a man shoved him into an alley and robbed him of his leather coat and gold chain, all valued at more than $200.

THEFT: Western District -- While the occupant of a house in the 1600 block of Edmondson Ave. slept Wednesday, a woman who was staying with him stole a 19-inch TV, stereo turntable and a compact disc player, all valued at nearly $2,000. The woman, of the 2800 block of Belmont Ave. was being sought.

PURSE SNATCH: Western District-- A resident of the first block of N. Bentalou St. was walking in the 2300 block of W. Baltimore St. Wednesday morning when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at nearly $100.

ROBBERY: Southern District -- A resident of the 3000 block of New York Ave. in Lansdowne was in the 700 block of W. Patapsco Ave. Wednesday night when a gunman robbed him of $20.

THEFT/ARRESTS: Southern District -- Police arrested two men who attempted to leave the Safeway store in the 1200 block of W. Pratt St. Wednesday night without paying for items valued at nearly $30.

CHURCH BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone entered the Evangelical Bible Church in the 2400 block of Washington Blvd. Wednesday morning and stole cash and property, all valued at nearly $1,900 from an office.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Stereo equipment and cash, all valued at more than $1,500, were stolen from the Over The Top Bar in the 2100 block of Wilkens Ave. Wednesday morning by someone who used a key to open a side door.

CHURCH BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone entered the Mount Calvary Church in the 1900 block of Bloomingdale Road through a window Wednesday and stole property valued at nearly $40.

THEFT FROM CHURCH: Southwestern District -- A microwave oven and two coats, all valued at more than $400, were stolen from the Trinity Presbyterian Church in the 3200 block of Walbrook Ave. Wednesday afternoon.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 2500 block of W. Lombard St. was walking near her home Wednesday night when a man who implied he had a gun robbed her of her purse containing cash and property, all valued at nearly $200.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 4900 block of Challedon Road Wednesday and stole a VCR and TV, all valued at more than $600.

Baltimore County

ESCAPE: Towson District -- A 34-year-old Randallstown woman escaped from the Sheppard-Pratt Medical Center in the 6500 block of N. Charles St. Wednesday night where she was being held on a detainer on an unspecified charge. The woman left a hospital building about 11 p.m. and was seen entering a cab. A warrant charging the woman with escape was to be issued.

ROBBERY/ARRESTS: North Point District -- Police arrested an adult and three juveniles and were holding them in connection with the robbery Wednesday morning of the 7/Eleven store in the 7900 block of Wise Ave. After someone entered the store and stole money from the cash register, he got into a getaway car that had been stolen in Essex earlier and drove off. At Stansbury and Lynch roads, four occupants bailed out of the car when it was spotted by police. Two people were caught following a brief foot chase. A third surrendered Wednesday night, and the fourth was arrested at his home.

ROBBERY: Woodlawn District -- A man robbed the Dunkin' Donuts shop in the 8000 block of Liberty Road Wednesday of an undisclosed sum and escaped on foot, running toward Rockdale Terrace.
