Tires stolen, cars damaged at dealerships GLEN BURNIE

April 01, 1993

At least six vehicles at two Glen Burnie auto dealerships were vandalized last weekend. In some cases, thieves took tires and wheels and left the vehicles up on blocks, county police said.

Most severely hit was Griffith Acura, in the first block of Holsom Way, where five cars had windows smashed or wheels stolen. Damage was estimated at $5,000.

Mark Neary, a Griffith worker, told police he found the damage when he arrived at work Monday.

All the cars damaged were 1993 Acura Integra's.

Also over the weekend, someone cut a hole in a fence at Tate Dodge, in the 7100 block of Ritchie Highway, and stole four tires and wheels off a van.

Police said a Tate employee found a 1994 Dodge Van up on blocks about 10:20 a.m. Monday.
