$2,400 stolen from safe at bowling center ANNAPOLIS/SOUTH COUNTY -- Davidsonville * Edgewater * Shady Side * Deale

April 01, 1993

Someone who apparently knew the combination to a safe stole more than $2,400 from the Fair Lanes Bowling Center in Annapolis on Sunday or Monday, county police said.

Assistant Manager Brian D. King noticed the money missing Monday afternoon and called police. He told authorities that the money was part of a bank deposit and was in a Citizens Bank of Maryland bag.

Police said there were no signs of forced entry to the safe or the building in the 2000 block of Generals Highway.
