Here's what to look for if you are traveling in the Baltimore metropolitan area this week. This list of highway projects includes only newly announced work, not continuing construction, which is extensive on several highways, including Interstate 95, U.S. 50/301 and the Baltimore-Washington Parkway.

New highway projects

Bellona Avenue, north of Seminary Avenue -- Beginning Tuesday, a portion of Bellona Avenue will be closed north of Seminary Avenue Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Westbound traffic on Seminary Avenue will turn right on Norman Avenue, left on Bellona Avenue, right on Morris Avenue, left on Francke Avenue and right on Seminary Avenue. Eastbound traffic will turn left on York Road and left on Bellona.

I-695 outer loop between Wilkens Avenue and Southwestern Boulevard -- Two left lanes will be closed today from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for overhead sign maintenance.

I-695 inner loop between Frederick Road and I-70 -- Various lane closures will be needed today between 6 a.m. and 1 p.m. for sign maintenance.

Northbound I-95 between I-195 and I-695 -- Two right lanes will be closed today from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. for deck repairs to the Southwestern Boulevard Bridge. Two left lanes will be closed from 10 p.m. today to 5 a.m. tomorrow.

MTA bus route changes:

The MTA has scheduled the following bus route changes for this week. Information: 539-5000; TTY for the hearing-impaired, 539-3497.

St. Patrick's Day parade:

Nos. 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 19, 20, 23, 27, 35, 36, 62, 64, !! 91 -- Effective today, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., these lines will be rerouted due to the rescheduled St. Patrick's Day parade. Parade begins at the Washington Monument and proceeds south on Charles Street to Pratt Street, then east on Pratt to Market Place.
