BALTIMORE CITY

* THEFT: Western District -- Property valued at $800 and owned by a resident of the 600 block of N. Brice St. was stolen Monday night from a house in the 1600 block of Booker Court where the victim was storing it.

* ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the first block of N. Gilmor St. was in the 1600 block of W. Baltimore St. Monday night when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of his jewelry and cash.

* BURGLARY: Western District -- A 13-inch TV, radio, a VCR, clothing and food, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen Monday from a house in the 2000 block of W. Saratoga St. by someone who entered through a rear door.

* THEFT: Western District -- Someone entered Franklin Square Elementary School in the 1400 block of W. Lexington St. Tuesday and stole a coat and a cellular phone that was in a pocket, all valued at $500.

* ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men, one armed with a handgun, robbed the Lincoln barber shop in the 1300 block of W. Lafayette Ave. Tuesday morning of $70 and then robbed two patrons of another $20 before fleeing.

* BURGLARY: Western District -- A TV and several pieces of clothing, all valued at $600, were stolen from a house in the 1200 block of Edmondson Ave. over the weekend by someone who entered through the front door.

* BURGLARY: Western District -- A TV valued at $130 was stolen from a house in the 1800 block of Lorman St. Tuesday by someone who entered through the front door.

* BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered a house in the 2700 block of W. Lanvale St. Tuesday through a rear basement window and stole tools valued at $300.

* BURGLARY: Western District -- A video game and a clock, all valued at $200, were stolen from a house in the 2100 block of Penrose Ave. Tuesday after someone entered through a rear door.

* CHURCH BURGLARY: Western District -- Five chairs, a speaker, dishes and a wall clock, all valued at nearly $600, were stolen from the New Bethel Church in the 500 block of N. Carrollton Ave. between Sunday and Tuesday.

* SHOOTING: Western District -- A resident of the 600 block of Pitcher St. was in the 1600 block of Westwood Ave. Tuesday evening when a gunman shot him in the right hand. The victim was taken to the University of Maryland Medical Center for treatment and is listed in good condition.

* ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men, one possibly armed with a weapon, robbed a resident of the 2400 block of Winchester St. of cash and property, all valued at more than $500, in the 1700 block of N. Bentalou St. Tuesday afternoon.

* ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 1800 block of Moreland Ave. was inside a store in the 1800 block of Ruxton Ave. Tuesday afternoon when a man robbed her of $20 and fled.

BALTIMORE COUNTY

* BURGLARY: White Marsh District-- Someone entered a house in the 10400 block of Old Landing Road in Kingsville Tuesday through a living room window and stole $20 after ransacking several rooms.

* STOLEN CAR: White Marsh District -- A 1989 black Honda Accord with Maryland tags FPO4626 and owned by a county policeman was stolen between Monday night and early Tuesday morning from the first block of Morning Court. The car is valued at $13,000.

HARFORD COUNTY

* BURGLARY/ARREST: Edgewood -- A 32-year-old Baltimore City man was arrested early Tuesday morning on U.S. 40 near Ebenezer Road and charged with entering the Super Thrift store in the 1900 block of Pulaski Highway and stealing 30 cartons of assorted brands of cigarettes valued at more than $300. A witness saw a man enter the store after breaking a window with a brick at 2:45 a.m. and called the state police at the Benson barracks, who radioed a description of the suspect's car. Trooper Nicholas Paros of the Kennedy Barracks at Interstate 95 was parked on U.S. 40 at Ebenezer Road when the car sped past him about 10 minutes later. The car was stopped and a search revealed the cigarettes. Charged with burglary, theft and destruction of property and being held in the county's Detention Center is Kurt Jeffrey Merryman of the 700 block of E. 23rd St.

* BURGLARY: Joppa -- Someone entered a house in the first block of Court Drive over the weekend through a rear door after breaking a window and stole three cameras and other items, all valued at $1,000.
