Waugh Chapel Elementary School and the Odenton McDonald's at 1502 Annapolis Road (Route 175) present Principal's Day from 5 to 8 tonight. Principal Joyce Fink will be behind the counter serving up the food and drinks.

Face painting and balloons will be available for the children.

A portion of the evening's proceeds will go directly to Waugh Chapel Elementary.

St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1283 Odenton Road, has scheduled a Flea Market for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., April 17 in the church hall. Fifty tables are available at $12 each. Light refreshments will be available. Information: (410) 674-6980 or (410) 672-5133.

The West Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce will hold its fourth annual $10,000 Raffle/Bull and Oyster Roast from 7 p.m. to midnight, April 2 at Michael's Eighth Avenue, Eighth and Greyburn avenues in Glen Burnie.

Live music will be provided by Jerry and the Heartaches, along with cash prizes, door prizes and games of chance. Raffle tickets are $100 each for the chance to win $10,000.

Tickets are $25 each.

The Odenton Heritage Society will hold a Flea Market and Auction on April 24 at the Odenton Fire Hall on Route 175.

The flea market will run from 9 a.m to 2 p.m., with the auction running from 9 a.m to 3 p.m.

Good usable items, including books, will be accepted, but no clothing. Items will be accepted at storage space A28 of The Vault, on Route 175 near McDonald's in Odenton.

Drop-off times are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday through April 17.

Heavy items will be picked up by calling 672-0179.

Tax deductible receipts are available upon request. Items worth more than $20 will be accepted on consignment for the auction with the heritage society receiving 20 percent commission.

The April luncheon of the Retired Officers' Wives' Club is set for 11 a.m., April 6 at the Fort Meade Officers' Club.

C. Dian Moore, who was director of presidential inquiries for the Bush administration, will be the speaker.

She will discuss some of the more interesting requests and letters received during her tenure.

The luncheon costs $8 and reservations are required.
