POLICE LOG

* Elkridge: 7000 block of Ducketts Lane: Someone stole $1,520 in stereo equipment from an Oldsmobile Cutlass between 11 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday. The car's windows were smashed.

* Ellicott City: 9125 Northfield Road: Someone broke 10 windows at Northfield Elementary School between 11 p.m. Friday and 8:30 a.m. Saturday. No one entered.

8300 block of Main Street: A black and silver 1989 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer was stolen between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Wednesday.

3700 block of Maryland Avenue: Someone tried to steal a 1990 Dodge Daytona between 9 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. Wednesday.

4300 block of Centennial Lane: Someone entered an unlocked door at Centennial High School between 4:45 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, and played basketball inside the gym. A water cooler and a stereo were taken.
