Center at Forest Ridge offers 11-hour day care

The Forest Ridge School Recreation Center is reminding parents of current and future kindergarten students that full-day care is available during the school year.

This licensed, 11-hour program provides structured leisure activities for Forest Ridge Elementary School kindergartners before and after their regular classes.

The program is housed in a room built specifically for the Howard County Department of Recreation and Parks, according to Brian Emelson, site coordinator for the recreation center.

The cost is $170 every two weeks. "Scholarships are available for qualified low-income families," said Mr. Emelson.
