Armed robbers hit Elkridge pizza parlor

Two armed robbers entered a Little Caesar's Pizza in Elkridge Thursday afternoon and fled with an undisclosed amount of money, Howard County police said.

Shortly after 2:30 a.m. Thursday, two men entered the pizza shop in the 6300 block of Washington Boulevard, police said. One displayed a handgun, the other unzipped a bag and showed a sawed-off shotgun, and they threatened employees with their weapons, police said.

The gunmen demanded cash, police said, adding that the employees complied by giving them an undisclosed amount of cash. The armed robbers then fled, police said.

* Ellicott City: 3200 block of Wheaton Way: The windshield of a 1978 Dodge cracked when a group of juveniles threw snowballs at a passing motorist about 3 p.m. Tuesday.

3100 block of West Springs Drive: Someone stole a Maryland license plate (557-AGJ) from the rear of a 1990 Nissan 240-SX between 9 p.m. March 12 and noon March 14.
