SHOWS

Today: Anglers' Sport and Fishing Expo at the Miles River Yacht Club near St. Michael's. Fishing tackle, charter and guide services and accessories and new and used boats will be on sale.

Today: National Capitol Fly Fishing Show at Reckord Armory, University of Maryland, College Park. Vendors, rod building, tackle appraisal, free seminars including speakers Harry Murray, K. Best, George Harvey and Greg Hoover, Dave Hughes and Ed Jaworowski. Admission is $10 and $2 for children under 12. For more information, call 1-800-848 -1020.

FISHING

Tomorrow: Monthly meeting of the Perry Hall Chapter of MSSA, American Legion Hall, Silver Lake Drive, 7:30 p.m. The public is welcome.

Wednesday: Monthy meeting of the Lower Eastern Shore Chapter of MSSA, East Side Men's Club in Salisbury, 7:30 p.m. The public is welcome.

Saturday: Gurney Godfrey Dinner at Towson State University. Guest speaker is scheduled to be Bob Clouser. Free afternoon program from noon to 6 p.m. includes demonstrations of fly tying, rod building and casting as well as stream talks about area waters. Dinner is at 6 p.m.. Tickets are $25 each. HUNTING/SHOOTING

Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday: Hunter safety education class at Merkle Wildlife Sanctuary near Upper Marlboro, 7 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. Saturday. For more information, call 301-888-1410.
