SHOOTING: Western District -- A man and a woman were both shot about 2:45 p.m. Wednesday in the 2400 block of W. Baltimore St. The man was shot in the lower left leg and the woman in the right leg; both were being treated at University Hospital. A suspect was being questioned and investigators were trying to determine the motive for the shootings.

ARMED ROBBERY: Western District -- A woman reported she was robbed of $15 Wednesday afternoon by an unknown man who pointed a gun at her as she was walking in the 1700 block of N. Carey St.

ARMED ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A man pointed a gun at another man walking in the 2500 block of W. Baltimore St. Monday night and ordered him to hand over money. The victim turned over $100 and the gunman fled.

ASSAULT, ROBBERY: Northern District -- A man reported several of his friends came to his house Tuesday night in the 600 block of Cator Ave. and dragged him outside, forcing him to turn over $81 that he had made earlier in the day shoveling snow.

LARCENY: Southwestern District -- Two suspects were arrested Tuesday in connection with the theft of $2,000 worth of meat from the Royal Quality Foods store in the 300 block of Stinson St. Both were employees of the store.

LARCENY: Northeastern District -- A 72-year-old woman reported she let a man come into her house, in the 5000 block of Harford Road, to use her phone about 3 p.m. Wednesday. The man stole $320 from her purse after using the phone.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered Ace's Garage in the 1000 block of N. Fremont Ave. through a side window on Tuesday or Wednesday and stole an air gun, a chain saw and a high-speed grinder machine. Total value of the items taken was estimated at $705.

LARCENY: Western District -- The door of a display showcase at the Penn Optical store at the Mondawmin Mall was pried open Tuesday afternoon and three cases of metal eyeglass frames were stolen.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone broke into a house in the 1300 block of N. Fremont Ave. sometime Wednesday and stole two saws, a drill and a drill hammer. The tools, which were being used for refurbishing the house, were valued at $755.

THEFT FROM AUTO: Northeastern District -- A wallet containing $110 was stolen Tuesday from a car parked in the 3500 block of Elmley Ave. after someone broke a driver's side window.

ASSAULT, ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Three men jumped a man walking in the 4200 block of Woodridge Road about 10:15 p.m. Monday, struck him in the head and stole his wallet and coat valued at $60. The victim was not seriously injured.

ARMED ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Three men robbed a man of $430 after one of the attackers put a silver-plated %J handgun to the victim's head and threatened to shoot him. The incident occurred shortly before 1:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 5600 block of Harford Road.

LARCENY: Northeastern District -- Someone stole a gold chain Monday from a room at the Montebello State Hospital, in the 2200 block Argonne Drive.

LARCENY: Northwestern District -- A 19-inch color television and some cash were stolen Tuesday from a home in the 3000 block of Thorndale Ave.

ARMED ROBBERY: Western District -- A man reported he was robbed of a diamond ring, a digital pager and a watch about 3 p.m. Wednesday by a man who pointed a .38-caliber handgun at him in the 2200 block of Presstman St.

BURGLARY: Western District -- An amplifier valued at $85 was stolen between March 7 and Tuesday after someone broke into the New Bethel Church in the 500 block of N. Carrollton Ave.

BURGLARY: Western District -- About $766 worth of unspecified equipment was stolen between Friday and Wednesday from La Rose's Beauty Salon in the 1800 block of N. Mount St. after someone entered through a basement door.

Baltimore County

VANDALISM, LARCENY: Cockeysville District -- Someone threw a piece of concrete through a glass window at Ames Department Store in the 2100 block of York Road and stole a Samsung camcorder worth $500. The theft occurred about 3:15 a.m. Wednesday.

AUTO THEFT: Cockeysville District -- A 1992 Acura Legend with an estimated value of $25,000 was stolen early Wednesday morning from an apartment complex parking lot in the 10000 block of Hillgreen Circle.

BURGLARY: Cockeysville District -- A videocassette recorder worth $175 and $150 in cash were stolen Wednesday afternoon from the bedroom of a home in the 16700 block of York Road. Entry was gained after someone broke the glass of a front door.

BURGLARY: Towson District -- Someone broke out a rear window of a house in the 1300 block of Highland Drive between Friday and Tuesday. It is unknown what was taken from the house.
