Bond Redemptions

PRINCETON, N.J. -- Municipal bond issuers announced yesterday the early redemption of five issues totaling more than $82.275 million.

The issues being called are:

* Fairfield, Calif., Series 1985, refunding certificates of participation bonds (Fairfield Water Utility Improvement Project), current interest bonds maturing April 1 and Oct. 1, 1995, through Oct. 1, 2002, and April 1, 2006, compound interest bonds maturing April 1, 2015. $43.675 million called on April 1, 1993, current interest bonds called at 102, compound interest bonds called at 102 percent of accreted value.

* Prince George's County, Md., Series 1983, pollution control revenue bonds (Potomac Electric Project), maturing April 15, 2010. $37 million called at 102 on April 15, 1993.

* Swatara Township, Pa., Series 1988, general obligation bonds, maturing April 15, 1994, through April 15, 2005. All outstanding bonds called at par on April 15, 1993.

* Greenville County Health Facilities, S.C., Series 1982, first mortgage revenue bonds (Hillhaven Project), maturing Nov. 1, 2010. All outstanding bonds called at 103 on May 1, 1993.

* Salt Lake County Housing Authority, Utah, Series 1983-I, multiple family housing revenue bonds, maturing April 1, 1996. $1.6 million called at par on April 1, 1993.
