BURGLARY: Western District -- Property valued at nearly $400 was stolen from the Deese grocery store in the 300 block of N. Stricker St. over the weekend. A man who lives near the store is being sought in connection with the burglary.

THEFT: Western District -- A resident of the 2500 block of W. Lanvale St. is being sought in connection with the theft of stereo equipment valued at $800 from his home over the weekend.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 1400 block of W. Baltimore St. was walking a block from his home Saturday evening when a man armed with a sawed-off shotgun robbed him of more than $40.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A man armed with a knife robbed a resident of the 1200 block of Parrish St. of jewelry valued at more than $800 Saturday afternoon in the 1200 block of Laurens St.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men, one armed with a sawed-off shotgun, robbed a resident of the 5300 block of Llewelyn Ave. of $5 in the 1300 block of W. Saratoga St. Saturday afternoon.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Property valued at $1,000 was stolen from a house in the 1800 block of Lorman St. over the weekend by someone who entered with a key.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A 19-inch TV and a VCR, all valued at more than $500, were stolen from a house in the 1900 block of Harlem Ave. over the weekend by someone who entered through a rear door.

CHURCH BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered the Ekklesia Bible Chapel in the 2000 block of N. Fulton Ave. between March 10 and Saturday through a rear window and stole a VCR and a TV.

SHOOTING: Western District -- A resident of the 5100 block of Laurel Ave. was in the 200 block of N. Monroe St. Saturday evening when a gunman shot him in the right side and left thigh. The victim was taken to the University of Maryland Medical Center for treatment and admitted. His condition was not immediately known.

BURGLARY: Southern District -- Someone entered a house in the 1400 block of Cooper St. over the weekend through the front window and stole a kitchen sink, tools, TV and a radio, all valued at more than $600.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1992 Honda with Maryland tags ZZX274 and owned by a resident of the 1900 block of Burnwood Road was stolen Saturday from the 1100 block of E. Belvedere Ave.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A compact disc player, a set of pearls and a gold chain, all valued at more than $2,600, were stolen from a house in the 3900 block of Canterbury Road over the weekend by someone who entered by breaking a window.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A multi-speed mountain bike valued at more than $300 was stolen over the weekend from a garage in the 4300 block of Rugby Road.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 3800 block of Thoroughbred Lane in Owings Mills, Baltimore County, was in the 2000 block of Edgewood St. Wednesday when a gunman robbed her of an undisclosed sum of cash.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 200 block of S. Collins Ave. Wednesday and stole property valued at more than $2,000.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Cash and property, all valued at more than $100, were stolen from a house in the 1200 block of Wicklow Road March 9 by someone who entered through a kitchen window.

SHOOTING: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 7500 block of Johnnycake Road was in the 4300 block of Woodridge Road Wednesday night when he was attacked by two men, one of whom shot him in the leg. The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment and released.

THEFT: Northern District -- Someone stole two wheel covers valued at $160 from an Oldsmobile parked in the 4400 block of Buena Vista Ave. March 9.

THEFT: Northern District -- Stereo equipment valued at nearly $300 was stolen from a 1985 Nissan while it was parked in the 700 block of E. 41st St. March 9.

THEFT: Northern District -- Electronic equipment valued at $1,000 was stolen from a truck owned by Global Supplies of the 300 block of Broadleaf Court while it was parked in the 400 block of E. 33rd St. March 9.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A refrigerator valued at $400 was stolen from a house in the 2600 block of Quantico Ave. Wednesday by someone who entered through a basement door.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- An 87-year-old resident of the 800 block of W. 40th St. was walking in the 3000 block of Greenmount Ave. Wednesday when she was shoved to the pavement by a man who stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at $60.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a house in the 2700 block of N. Calvert St. with a key Wednesday and stole a compact disc player, 200 discs, a TV and other items, all valued at more than $3,000.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Three wall pictures, a video game and a 13-inch TV, all valued at nearly $300, were stolen from a house in the 1500 block of Edmondson Ave. March 9 by someone who entered through a door.
