POLICE LOG

* Ellicott City: 3800 block of New Cut Road: Someone smashed the driver's window on a 1988 Volkswagen Fox between 1:30 a.m. and 3:50 p.m. Saturday, and stole $180 worth of CDs.

8200 block of Main St.: Someone stole a 1992 Chevrolet Astro van between 4 p.m. Friday and 12:50 p.m. Sunday, behind the county's main post office.

3800 block of Paul Mill Road: Someone stole a $73 electric chain saw and a $392 cultivator from a garage between 7:30 pm. Wednesday.

3100 block of Normandy Woods Drive: Someone used a rock to damage a 1991 Toyota truck between 2:30 and 2:45 a.m Wednesday.

3000 block of Oak Green Circle: Someone smashed a reahatchback window on a 1985 Volkswagen between 8 p.m. March 8 and 10 a.m. March 9. A large rock was found inside.

* Elkridge: 6500 block of Washington Boulevard: Someone entered a 1993 Toyota Tercel between 12:10 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday, and stole a $400 car telephone.
