Pehlke leads Virginia by Duke, 14-10

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. — DURHAM, N.C. -- Calvert Hall graduate Kevin Pehlke scored game-high five goals and added an assist to lead No. 5 Virginia (3-0, 1-0) over No. 7 Duke (4-1, 1-1), 14-10, in an Atlantic Coast Conference game yesterday.

Tim Whiteley (St. Paul's) and Rob Falk each scored twice for the Cavaliers, who led 10-4 after three quarters. The Blue Devils closed the margin to 10-7, but they got no closer.

Jim Mannino scored three goals and had one assist for Duke. Ken Fasanaro had two goals.
