PRINCETON, N.J. -- Municipal bond issuers announced yesterday the early redemption of eight issues totaling more than $39 million.

The issues being called are:

* Arizona State, Series 1990 A, certificates of participation bonds, maturing July 1, 1993, Jan. 1 and July 1, 1994, through Jan. 1, 1999. $4.897 million called at par on March 31, 1993.

* Davis, Calif., Series 1984 A, multiple family housing revenue bonds, maturing Oct. 1, 1994. $3.8 million called at 102 on April 1, 1993.

* Lee County, Fla., Series 1991, special obligation refunding revenue bonds, maturing Oct. 1, 1993. $1.985 million called at par on April 1, 1993.

* Kendallville, Ind., Series 1983, economic development revenue bonds (Dart and Kraft Inc. Project), maturing April 1, 2003. Partial call of $2.475 million called at 103 on April 1, 1993.

* Redwing, Minn., Series 1989, elderly housing refunding revenue bonds, maturing March 1, 1994 and March 1, 2018. All outstanding bonds called at par on April 2, 1993.

* Hollidaysburg Sewer Authority, Pa., Series 1977, guaranteed sewer revenue bonds, maturing June 1, 1995 and June 1, 2000. All outstanding bonds called at par on April 1, 1993.

* Washington State Housing Finance Commission, Series 1990 C, single-family mortgage revenue bonds, maturing July 1, 1994, Jan. 1 and July 1, 1995, through July 1, 2003, Jan. 1, 2019, and Jan. 1, 2024. $25.84 million called at par on April 1, 1993.

* Blair School District, Wis., Series 1978, general obligation bonds, maturing Oct. 1, 1993, through Oct. 1, 1997. All outstanding bonds called at par on April 1, 1993.
