Police Log Ellicott City/elkridge

* Elkridge: 7500 block of Route 1: Someone twisted a lock at Bedroom Outlet about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, activating an alarm. Nothing was taken, but a mattress was found at the door.

* Ellicott City: 4400 block of Bonnie Branch Road: Someone was seen entering a boarded window about 9:30 a.m. March 3. Nothing was taken.

8500 block of Route 40: A blue 1990 Ford Mustang without tags was stolen from Normandy Ford on March 3 or 4.

Baltimore National Pike at Route 29: A red 1993 Pontiac Grand Am without tags was stolen between Feb. 26 and Friday from O'Donnell Pontiac.

8300 block of Baltimore National Pike: Someone smashed a window by throwing a piece of concrete through it at Eberhart's Oaks Exxon station between 3 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.
