This year a record eight competitors completed the fourth round, turning in perfect scores.

Individuals and teams compete in a one-hour test at the Arnold campus in which a score of 6 is perfect.

A school's total score is compiled by adding each school's top three individual scores to its highest team score.

Anthony Sawyer of Chesapeake High; Chris Kwak and Neal Motonaga, both of Meade High; Jason Farinelli of Northeast High; Geoffrey Atkinson and Adam Meyerson, both of Severna Park; and Jason Berger and Billy Chang of South River High, were the eight students turning over perfect scores.
