Group seeks sponsors for carnival program GLEN BURNIE

March 08, 1993

The Glen Burnie Improvement Association is looking for sponsors for the program book for its community carnival this summer.

The event, begun in 1908, is one of the largest community-operated carnivals on the East Coast. It will be held this year from July 30 through Aug. 7.

The program book not only outlines carnival activities, but also helps pay for a day at the carnival for approximately 200 handicapped and retarded people. This year, Aug. 3 has been set aside for their visit.

Ads in the program book are full-page, half-page, quarter-page and eighth-page.

The deadline to place an order is April 23.

For more information, call the improvement association at 766-6760.
