ROBBERY/SHOOTING: Northeastern District -- Three men, one with a handgun, robbed 19 customers of the Pizza Hut in the 6000 block of Moravia Park Drive Saturday night of an undisclosed sum and property. During the robbery, the gunman shot the manager in the leg when he failed to open a safe. The men escaped and the manager was taken to Franklin Square Hospital for treatment and was released.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Several pieces of jewelry were stolen over the weekend by someone who entered a house in the 1100 block of Andover Road after breaking a window in a rear door.

STOLEN DOG: Southeastern District -- Someone entered a back yard in the 500 block of N. Belnord Ave. Sunday afternoon and stole a black and white pit bull terrier valued at $300.

THEFT: Southeastern District -- When a resident of the 800 block of S. Conkling St. awoke Sunday morning he found that jTC someone who was visiting him overnight stole $300 from his pants pockets.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A VCR and gold jewelry, all valued at nearly $300, were stolen over the weekend from a house in the 2800 block of Oakley Ave. by someone who entered through a basement door.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- An unknown quantity of cigarettes were stolen from the Sunflower Restaurant in the 2400 block of N. Charles St. Sunday by someone who entered by breaking the front door.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered an apartment in the Carlton Apartments in the 3500 block of N. Charles St. over the weekend and stole photo equipment valued at more than $4,000.

RAPE/ARREST: Western District -- Kenneth Nelson, 28, of the 1600 block of N. Gilmor St., was arrested and charged with raping a woman inside his home Sunday morning. The woman, a resident of the 2300 block of Riggs Ave., was taken to the University of Maryland Medical Center for treatment and released. Mr. Nelson was being held at the station in lieu of $10,000 bail.

THEFT: Western District -- A purse containing cash and property, all valued at $90, was stolen Sunday after a worshiper left it on a pew at St. James Episcopal Church in the 800 block of N. Arlington Ave.

RAPE/ARREST: Western District -- Jimmy Lee Brown, 37, of the 2100 block of Walbrook Ave., was arrested over the weekend and charged with raping a resident of the 3900 block of Fairview Ave. inside a house in the 2100 block of Walbrook Ave. at gunpoint. Mr. Brown, a resident of the 2100 block of Walbrook Ave., is being held at the station without bail.

Baltimore County

ABDUCTION/CAR THEFT: Woodlawn District -- Police were seeking two men who abducted a 40-year-old Catonsville resident Sunday afternoon from the Westview Mall before letting her out on a West Baltimore street unharmed. The woman was entering her 1991 Chevrolet Cavalier on the mall lot at 2:25 p.m. when two men forced her into the car and drove off. While eastbound on Route 40, the driver turned right at an unknown street and drove several streets south before letting the woman out. The car, with Maryland tags SVL681, has not been found.

ROBBERY: Towson District -- A man knocked a resident of Ocean Pines in Worcester County to the pavement while she walked in the 6900 block of Copperbend Lane Sunday evening and stole her purse containing cash and property, all of unknown value.


VANDALISM: Edgewood -- Someone used a blunt object to break the garage door of a resident of the 1800 block of Larch Drive Saturday night, causing $200 worth of damage.
