PRINCETON, N.J. -- Municipal bond issuers announced yesterday the early redemption of eight issues totaling more than $96.39 million.

1! The issues being called are: * Grass Valley, Calif., Series 1983, insured hospital revenue bonds (Sierra Nevada Memorial-Miners Hospitals Inc.), maturing April 1, 1994, and April 1, 2012. All outstanding bonds called at 102 on April 1, 1993.

* Riverside Redevelopment Agency, Calif., Series 1978, tax allocation bonds, maturing Oct. 1, 1993, through Oct. 1, 1999. $2.595 million called at 100 1/2 on April 1, 1993.

* San Jose, Calif., Series 1985, airport revenue bonds, maturing March 1, 1994, through March 1, 2001, and March 1, 2016. $81.325 million called at 104 on March 1, 1993.

* Boise City, Idaho, Series 1980, airport revenue bonds, maturing Oct. 1, 1993, and Oct. 1, 1996. $3.33 million called at par on April 1, 1993.

* Central Orchards Sewer District, Idaho, Series 1978, general obligation sewer bonds, maturing Oct. 1, 1993, through Oct. 1, 2008. $3.235 million called at 102 1/2 on April 1, 1993.

* Albemarle, N.C., Series 1983, general obligation water bonds, maturing March 1, 1994, through March 1, 1998. All outstanding bonds called on April 1, 1993, at par plus 1/2 of 1 percent between the redemption date and the maturity date not exceeding 2 percent.

* Fargo, N.D., Series 1986, multiple family housing revenue bonds (Roberts Street Place Limited Partnership Project), maturing April 1, 1993, through April 1, 1997. All outstanding bonds called at par on March 24, 1993.

Robertson County, Tenn., Series 1983, general obligation bonds, maturing April 1, 1994, through April 1, 2002. $5.905 million called at 102 on April 1, 1993.
