Meeting set to discuss toxins at Howard landfill

A meeting to discuss concerns about the presence of toxins in the Howard County landfill will be conducted at 7 p.m. tomorrow at the George Howard county office building in Ellicott City.

Representatives of Howard's Public Works Department, which runs the landfill, and the county's Health Department, which conducts residential well tests, will be available. Ground-water contamination consultants, who are studying the problem, will be available for questions.
