Here's what to look for if you are traveling in the Baltimore metropolitan area this week. This list of highway projects includes only newly announced work, not continuing construction, which is extensive on several highways, including Interstate 95, U.S. 50/301 and the Baltimore-Washington Parkway.

New highway projects

I-695 outer loop between Interstate 795 and Security Boulevard -- Two right lanes will closed from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. today for bridge deck repairs to the Liberty Road bridge.

MTA route changes:

The MTA has scheduled the following bus route changes for this week. Information: 539-5000; TTY for the hearing-impaired, 539-3497.

No. 13 -- Effective tomorrow, the route will be permanently changed: Eastbound to the Clinton and Newgate/Canton terminal, buses will follow regular route south on East Avenue and Elliott Street, south on East, east on Toone Street, south on Clinton Street, west on Boston Street, then north on East to layover adjacent to the Du Burns Arena.

Westbound from Clinton and Newgate via regular route north on Clinton to Boston, west on Boston, north os East to Elliott Street, then via regular route. Westbound from the Canton terminal, buses will leave the layover northbound on East opposite Du Burns Arena, north on East to Elliott, then via regular route.
