BALTIMORE CITY

* STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1989 Oldsmobile with Maryland tags AJB206 was stolen from the 2500 block of Quantico Ave. Wednesday morning.

* ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 1600 block of Woodbourne Ave. was in the 1900 block of Windsor Ave. Tuesday when a gunman struck her with the weapon and robbed her of cash and property, all of unknown value.

* THEFT/ARREST: Western District -- A man attempting to leave the Rite Aid pharmacy at the Mondawmin Mall on Tuesday

afternoon without paying for several items was stopped by a security officer and held for city police. The man is being held at the police station pending theft charges. The property was recovered.

* THEFT: Western District -- Computer equipment valued at $4,000 was stolen Tuesday from an office at Bon Secours Hospital in the 2000 block of W. Baltimore St.

* STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- Someone stole a 1990 Oldsmobile with Maryland tags ZCJ802 owned by a resident of the 9800 block of Harford Road from the 6100 block of Mayline Road on Wednesday morning.

* ROBBERY: Northern District -- A resident of the 1300 block of Montpelier St. was in the 3200 block of Loch Raven Blvd. Wednesday when a gunman robbed him of a bag of groceries and a small handcart, all valued at $40.

* THEFT: Northern District -- A white-and-pink 1992 Yamaha motorcycle without tags was stolen from the the back yard of a house in the 3400 block of Seneca St. between Saturday and Wednesday.

* STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- Someone stole a 1992 Jeep Cherokee with Maryland tags 227523M from the 5400 block of Roland Ave. Wednesday morning.

* BURGLARY: Northern District -- A TV, VCR and an electronic game, all valued at nearly $350, were stolen from a house in the 1100 block of Filmore St. Wednesday after someone entered through the front door.

* BURGLARY: Northern District -- A motorcycle helmet, radio, and a telephone, all valued at more than $500, were stolen from a house in the 3700 block of Chestnut Ave. in Hampden Wednesday by someone who entered through a rear kitchen door.

* ROBBERY: Southern District -- A gunman entered Keystone Printing in the 800 block of W. Patapsco Ave. Wednesday afternoon and robbed a female employee of $80.

* ROBBERY: Southern District -- A woman was walking in the 1000 block of S. Carrollton Ave. yesterday afternoon when a man knocked her to the pavement and stole her purse containing $53.

* ROBBERY/SHOOTING: Southern District -- A resident of the 200 block of Bridgeview Road was shot in the knee Wednesday night by two men after they robbed him of more than $200 in the 900 block of Coppin Court. The victim was taken to the University of Maryland Medical Center for treatment. His condition was not immediately known.

* BURGLARY: Southern District -- Someone entered a city-owned trailer in the 100 block of Dickman St. Wednesday and stole a microwave oven.

* BURGLARY: Southern District -- Auto repair equipment valued at $400 was stolen from Glem's Towing in the 400 block of S.

Carey St. Wednesday by someone who entered the yard.

* BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Property valued at more than $600 was stolen from a house in the 1200 block of Seminole Ave. Monday by someone who entered through a rear door.

* ROBBERY: Eastern District -- A resident of the 5300 block of Cordelia Ave. was standing at the corner of Broadway and Preston Street Wednesday morning when a gunman robbed him of $20.

* ASSAULT: Eastern District -- Police were seeking a man who attacked a resident of the 1600 block of N. Wolfe St. in the 1900 block of E. Oliver St. Wednesday morning and struck him several times with a length of wood. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital for a 3-inch cut on the head.

* BURGLARY: Eastern District -- Police responding to a burglary in the 1700 block of Crystal Ave. Tuesday night arrested two men leaving a vacant house carrying a toilet valued at $400. Charges were pending.

* THEFT: Eastern District -- Someone entered the trunk of a car parked in the 1500 block of Ashland Ave. Wednesday and stole computer equipment valued at more than $1,000.

* BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered a house in the 1800 block of W. Baltimore St. Tuesday night and stole two antique heating radiators.

* BREAK-IN: Western District -- Jewelry valued at more than $100 was stolen from Shears and Things in the 1000 block of W. Baltimore St. Wednesday morning.

* BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered a house in the 900 block of N. Dukeland St. Wednesday and stole a VCR valued at nearly $140.

* ARREST: Western District -- Police were holding a resident of the 4900 block of Cordelia Ave. Wednesday pending charges that he attempted to rob a driver for Checker Cab in the 200 block of N. Calhoun St. with a handgun. Police pursued the gunman to the 400 block of N. Carey St. and arrested him.
