PRINCETON, N.J. -- Municipal bond issuers announced yesterday the early redemption of eight issues totaling more than $8.645 million.

1! The issues being called are: * Stockton East Water District, Calif., Series 1975, water revenue bonds, maturing April 1, 2005. All outstanding bonds called at 102 on April 1, 1993.

* Olney, Ill., Series 1966, water revenue bonds, maturing March 15, 1994, through March 15, 1996. $1.9 million called at 102 1/2 on March 15, 1993.

* Harlan County School District No. 002, Neb., Series 1988, school bonds, maturing Sept. 15, 1993, through Sept. 15, 2008.

$1.57 million called at par on March 15, 1993.

* Washington County School District No. 001, Neb., Series 1988, school bonds, maturing Sept. 15, 1993, through Sept. 15, 2008. $3.705 million called at par on March 15, 1993.

* Carter County, Tenn., Series 1978, general obligation jail bonds, maturing April 1, 1994, through April 1, 1999. All outstanding bonds called on April 1, 1993, at par plus a premium of one quarter of 1 percent between the redemption date and the maturity date.

* Fayette County, Tenn., Series 1983, general obligation school bonds, maturing April 1, 1994, through April 1, 1998. All outstanding bonds called at 102 on April 1, 1993.

* Rhea County, Tenn., Series 1983, general obligation nursing home bonds, maturing April 1, 1994, through April 1, 1998. All outstanding bonds called at 102 on April 1, 1993.

* Weakley County, Tenn., Series 1983, general obligation school bonds, maturing April 1, 1994, through April 1, 1998. $1.47 million called at 102 on April 1, 1993.
