THEFT/ARREST: Northeastern District -- Police arrested a man Sunday when he tried to leave the Giant food store in the 5100 block of Sinclair Lane without paying for medicine he allegedly took from the shelf in the pharmacy section.

BURGLARY: Central District -- Someone entered Kirby's Deli in the 400 block of W. Redwood St. Sunday night through the front window and stole 12 cartons of cigarettes valued at more than $200.

THEFT: Central District -- Tools valued at more than $700 were stolen from a 1986 Chevrolet in the 100 block of W. Hamilton St. Friday.

ROBBERY: Central District -- A resident of New Jersey was in the 200 block of St. Paul St. Monday night when two men stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at $105.

THEFT/ARREST: Central District -- Police arrested a man Monday who attempted to leave the Sharper Image in the Gallery at 200 block of E. Pratt St. without paying for a shirt valued at $70.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1986 Toyota station wagon with Maryland tags PDT-771 and owned by a resident of the 5400 block of Purlington Way was stolen from the 3600 block of St. Paul St. over the weekend.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1980 Buick was Maryland tags YEH-035 was stolen from the 4600 block of Pall Mall Road Monday.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- Someone stole a 1984 Chevrolet with Maryland tags YZE-999 from the 2600 block of Loyola Southway over the weekend.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered the Ibello upholstering company in the 3500 block of Parkdale Ave. over the weekend after breaking a window and stole a TV and a fax machine, all valued at more than $2,000.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a house in the 2000 block of Druid Park Drive through a basement door over the weekend and stole two TVs, a VCR, telephone, microwave oven and food, all valued at more than $1,500.

BURGLARY/ARREST: Northern District -- A man with no permanent address entered a house in the 300 block of E. 29th St. Monday and was caught by the occupant, who held him for police. The man was being held at the Northeastern District station pending a bail hearing before a District Court commissioner.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1978 Chevrolet with Maryland tags ZGV-841 and owned by a resident of the 2800 block of Miles Ave. was stolen from the 3000 block of Remington Ave. Monday morning.

THEFT: Northern District -- Police were seeking a man who stole a 19-inch TV and $25 from a house in the 800 block of E. 41st St. Saturday while the occupant was asleep.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1985 Toyota with Maryland tags SDL-549 was stolen over the weekend from the 2000 block of W. Northern Parkway.

THEFT: Northern District -- A cable TV access box owned by United Cable in the 2500 block of Kirk Ave. was stolen from a house in the 2700 block of N. Calvert St. between Oct. 1 and Monday. The device is valued at more than $250.

THEFT: Northern District -- Someone entered a cafeteria at Johns Hopkins University in the 3400 block of N. Charles St. over the weekend and stole a TV worth $600.

THEFT: Northern District -- Power tools valued at nearly $1,000 were stolen Monday morning from a 1989 Ford van while it was parked in the 5700 block of Chinquapin Parkway.

ASSAULT: Northern District -- A resident of the 500 block of Radnor Ave. was in the 4400 block of York Road Sunday when a man known to him as "Jackson" pointed a handgun at him and threatened to shoot.

BURGLARY/ARRESTS: Western District -- Police arrested Gunther Weilrach, 26, of the 3200 block of Elgin Ave., and Jeremiah Pinder, 43, of the 1300 block of N. Stricker St., and charged them with entering a house in the 1600 block of N. Gilmor St. Sunday afternoon and stealing a washing machine. Each was being held in lieu of $7,500 bail pending a bail review hearing Tuesday in District Court.

BURGLARY/ARRESTS: Western District -- Police arrested two men Sunday night and charged them with entering a house in the 700 block of N. Pulaski St. and stealing several pieces of property. Recovered were three aluminum windows and copper tubing. Missing is a 25-foot aluminum ladder. Charged and being held in lieu of $2,500 each were Phillip Johnson, 34, of the 5800 block of Highgate Road, and William Staten, 48, of the 900 block of N. Stricker St.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 2000 block of Etting St. was robbed of $6 and a bottle of rum by two men who attacked him Sunday night in the 1300 block of N. Mount St.

CAB HOLDUP/ARREST: Western District -- Michael J. Boyd, 33, of the 1500 block of W. Franklin St., was arrested over the weekend and charged with the armed robbery of a Royal cab driver in the 200 block of N. Carey St. Friday afternoon. Mr. Boyd was released after posting $5,000 bail.

THEFT: Western District -- Someone entered a car parked in the 600 block of N. Carrollton Ave. Sunday by breaking a vent window and stole tools valued at nearly $300.
