Catherine Pech, daughter of Gerald and Linda Pech of Columbia, has received a Meritorious Achievement Award to attend Frostburg State University. She plans to study environmental science.
Ms. Pech is a senior at Howard High School, where she is a member of the National Honor Society, a Red Cross volunteer and recipient of a Bausch and Lomb Science Award. She is also a Maryland Distinguished Scholar semifinalist.
