Two charged in stabbing

Two men were arrested Friday night at Fort Meade and charged in the stabbing of a Jessup liquor store owner and the taking of his vehicle on Monday, Howard County police said.

Military police at Fort Meade's south gate stopped a Plymouth Voyager van matching the description of the vehicle reported stolen Monday night. Charged with attempted murder and armed robbery were the ve

hicle's occupants: Montague Paul Miller, 27, of no fixed address; and Kenneth Brian Daff, 23, of Severn.

Seon Ok Song, 70, of Ellicott City, owner of U.S. 1 Liquors on Washington Boulevard in Jessup, was stabbed Monday night as two men stole his van after he locked up his business, police said. He remained in fair and stable condition yesterday at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.
