Antiques show in 'Grand Style'

The 23rd annual Hunt Valley Antiques Show will take place next weekend at the Marriott Hunt Valley Inn.

Sixty dealers will participate in the show, which has as its theme "Presenting the Grand Style." Proceeds will benefit the Auxiliary of Family and Childrens' Services of Central Maryland.

Show hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $7.

There will be a lecture at 11 a.m. Friday, "Fifth Avenue Palaces, Their Lords, Ladies and Entertainments," by John Peter Hayden of the rare book firm Hayden and Fandetta of New York. At 11 a.m. Saturday, John Loring of Tiffany & Co. will deliver a lecture, "Entertaining from Four to Four Hundred." Admission to each lecture is $15, which includes a catalog and show admission.
