Betty and Louis L. Domsky of Randallstown will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary with family and friends March 13 at the Milbrook Park Centre.

Amy Beall, a senior at the Catholic High School of Baltimore, was recently selected as WMAR-TV's Prep Athlete of the Week.

The Max Rubin Memorial Award for Volunteer of the Year was presented to Norton Naviasky at the Jewish Vocational Service annual recognition program.

Sharon L. Lewis of Middle River was awarded the Wilson Point Women's Club Scholarship at Essex Community College.

Barbara Lundin, a senior at the Catholic High School of Baltimore, has been awarded a full-tuition Presidential Scholarship to the College of Notre Dame of Maryland.

Shirley Claire and Paul Eugene Sorensen of Berwyn Heights celebrated their 50th anniversary Jan. 22.

Theresa McDaniel, a Towson High School art teacher, has been selected to receive the National Art Education Association Award as the 1993 Eastern Region Secondary Art Educator.

Matt Saunders, a Towson High School senior, has been named a winner in the 1993 Century III Leaders Program, which includes a $1,000 scholarship to continue their education.

Joyce B. Machin of Parkton has been selected as Maryland's School Nurse of the Year by the Maryland Department of School Nurses.

Maureen Blake, daughter of Kathy and Steve Hamilton of Delafield Court, and a junior at Shippensburg University, and Sherry Elliott, daughter of Paul Elliott and Joyce Skovron, both of Pasadena, and a senior at Shippensburg University, have been named in "Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges."

Frank and Mary Smardo will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Feb. 28 in Kingsville.
