POLICE

* Westminster: Three vehicles parked in different areas of the city were broken into over the holiday weekend.

Judy Lanahan of Baltimore County told police the window of her car was broken and a radar detector and a gold chain were stolen while the car was parked at the 140 Village Shopping Center on Monday. The combined loss and damage is $500.

Eric Lambert of Pennsylvania Avenue reported to police the stereo was stolen after someone broke the window of his car while it was parked at the rear of his home on Monday. The damage and loss is estimated at $200.

Tammy West of Owings Mills told police articles valued at $45 were taken from the car on Sunday while it was parked on John Street.

FIRE

* Westminster: Westminster responded to a transformer fire on Sullivan Avenue at 5:42 a.m. Wednesday. Units were out for about 90 minutes.
