Whitmore Publishing wins 8 awards

Whitmore Publishing took home eight Print Quality awards from the 15th Annual Print Quality Awards banquet, sponsored by the Printing Industries of Maryland and Southern Pennsylvania.

Annapolis-based Whitmore Publishing won the awards, including six best of category honors, for materials produced for national and local clients, including Clark Keller and Lee Communications.

3 businesses open at Harbour Center

Lewis of London, Home Gym Systems and Household Finance Corp. have opened for business at Annapolis Harbour Center on Route 2 south in Annapolis.

Household Finance offers financial products and services.

Lewis of London is a children's specialty store offering furniturewall hangings and bedding crafted in the European tradition.

Home Gym Systems is part of a chain of six stores in Washington, Virginia and Maryland. It carries treadmills, stair climbers and other

fitness products.

Annapolis Harbour Center is a 290,000-square-foot shopping center with 49 stores. Among its stores are Tower Records and Barnes & Noble Bookstore.

WNAV airs program for Arundel Jews

Radio station WNAV 1430 AM in Annapolis is airing a program from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. Sunday mornings aimed at the Annapolis/Anne Arundel County Jewish community.

"The Jewish Show" host is Lawrence Goldstein of Annapolis, graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and a local attorney.

The broadcasts features Jewish music, news and opinions, anwill provide information about the functions of many local congregations and organizations.

Broadneck selects O'Meara Properties

O'Meara Properties, Inc. of Arnold has been selected by South Shore Development Company, Inc. as the real estate broker for the Broadneck Medical Center in Arnold.

Broadneck Medical Center, located on College Parkway across from Anne Arundel Community College, is expanding, adding a two-story, 19,000 square foot building designed for use by medical professionals.
