Top Male Ken Findley, Chesapeake Basketball Findley, a 6-foot-2 senior forward, scored 60 points in two losses last week. On Tuesday, in a 61-51 loss at Old Mill, Findley had three three-pointers and a game-high 26 points. He came back with a game-high 34 points in Friday's 56-51 loss to seventh-ranked Annapolis.

Top Female Joan Chidester, Severn School Swimming Chidester won seven events in two meets last week as the Admirals gained a share of the championship for the first time since 1988. Severn (8-3 overall) rolled over Baltimore Poly on Tuesday, 62-30, with Chidester winning the 200-yard medley and 100-yard butterfly and swimming a leg on the winning 200-medley and 200-freestyle relay teams. The junior won the 200 individual medley and was on the winning 200 medley and 200 freestyle relays on Thursday in a 101-63 rout of City College.

Girls Basketball Christine Baer, Old Mill Baer, a 5-foot-6 senior on the second-ranked Patriots had 25 points Saturday in a win over St. Mary's, 69-59. With a career-high five three-pointers, two coming in the waning moments, Baer propelled the Pats over the sixth-ranked Saints for their 14th consecutive win

Wrestling Ken Seavey, Old Mill The senior Seavey posted a crucial pin over Ron Katzenberger in the 140-pound bout to spark a 37-13 romp over fifth-ranked Northeast in a showdown Friday night. Earlier in the week, in a 45-12 rout of No. 14 Chesapeake (9-5), Seavey scored a 17-2 technical fall at 145 pounds for the third-ranked Patriots.

Boys swimming Tim Freeman, Severn School Just a freshman, Freeman won a pair of individual events (100-yard backstroke and 200 freestyle) and was part of two winning relays (200 medley and 400 freestyle) as the Admirals clinched a share of the MSA B Conference title with a 101-63 romp over City College on Thursday. Two days before, Freeman won two events in the team's 62-30 triumph over Poly.
